Now that I’m done sobbing to this video, I can type this comment. I just broke up with my boyfriend of 1 year and 3 months about two weeks ago. I loved him more than anything, and even though it’s now in a different form, I will love him forever. We went through amazing and terrible things. Life changing things. Neither of us were looking for a relationship when we came into each other’s lives. It was brief and intense, and I’ve never felt so seen, and betrayed, and supported, and rebuilt, and cared for, and not cared for by someone before. I’ve never been so changed by someone before. I didn’t love myself when we met, and now that it’s over, I have a chance to learn how to. And Linda, I cry to your videos alllll the time, but I always come out of them feeling so inspired. I’m excited and afraid to stand on my own and find love from within, and to heal the parts of me that damaged both him and myself. I can only hope he’ll take the opportunity to do so as well. It was an honor to be part of his life and to know him so deeply. And now, in a new chapter, it will be an honor to know myself so deeply, and to find that love I’m yearning for so much. ❤️
