We went to a small Texas town where one Bitcoin mining facility uses as much power as the entire city of Austin.
Everyone is town is affected by the constant noise from the crypto facility, even the animals.
One resident told us: “Every person here is sick.”
Correction: 15:18 Donald Trump Jr. not Eric Trump

More Perfect Union is an Emmy-winning, nonprofit newsroom whose mission is to build power for working people. Here’s what that means: We report on the real struggles and challenges of the working class from a working-class perspective. We attempt to connect those problems to potential solutions. We report on the abuses and wrongdoing of corporate power. And we seek to hold accountable the ultra-rich who have too much power over America’s political and economic systems.

Techno Libertarian paradise.
they used noise as a weapon in the middle east…
I would feel bad for these people but they blame the companies and not the very politicians that put them there in the first place. Let them live with that.
I get fighting the power but in this case, move. You will not win.
Hire Erin Brockevich.
Burn it all down
People don’t seem to realize they’re not actually using up the water. You can’t “use” water — it’s the same water being recycled over and over. It’s just used for cooling, not consumed. The water absorbs heat, gets a bit warmer, maybe some evaporates, but it’s still the same stuff cycling through the system.
What is with the interviewer questioning people about voting for Trump….this is clearly a LOCAL/STATE issue with the location of this mine, inadequate protection etc. If they can't put the mine farther from people's houses they should have to offer to buy those nearby residents' properties from them at the pre-mine value. Hopefully the residents can pursue a class action lawsuit, if their property values tanked and they can no longer enjoy their own properties. The interviewer questioning them about Trump and showing them a chart of PoLiTiCiAnS iNvEsTiNg In BiTcOin is such obvious leftist propaganda. The guy near the end, Larry Potts, had a smart response. People really need to wake up to how corrupt so many LOCAL AND STATE governments are across this country. And they probably have a much bigger impact on your life…..
They voted for the people that support, benefit and push this.
If they don't regret how they voted, why do they expect sympathy?
this is why the aliens won't visit us.
