You might consider a small terrestrial growth of crypts in the truck holes, which will remain lower in height and survive in most light parameters, and may produce some lovely flowers depending on species and parameters. I did like your original choice; however, given the low clearance on the shelving unit might not be the best choice 15” x 15” by 10” (9.74 US Gal) or 17” x 17” x 8.5” (10.634 US Gal)
