I’m in Blackpool today and I’ve headed to Marco Pierre White’s Italian restaurant. I had a fantastic meal at his location in Birmingham so I hope this backs it up!

  1. Those prawns looked way over cooked and mushy. Prawns for me are best done hot and fast on a charcoal barbecue. I really don’t like ribs that are cooked as much as that so that they look dry and just fall to pieces. I take it that this was for two people, but that would have been enough of a portion for me given that there was chicken, steak and ribs. You really would like to do a review of Hickory’s Smokehouse in Chester. I had fabulous smoked ribs there and they really were juicy and lovely, with that stickiness that makes them sumptuous.
