you should try the US stores store Chicken is the best
Sorry for spamming you with comments lol x) Our local Popeyes in Chelmsford was the first Popeyes sit-down restaurant to open in the UK and it was disgraceful. So bad in fact, it gave my partner food poisoning. My chicken strips had clearly been cooked, then left-out for ages, only to be slapped in a microwave for far too long to reheat for me. They destroyed the roof of my mouth, while offering zero flavour and having the texture of old car tyres. The manager behind the counter kept barking orders at one of the staff members who looked like they were about to jump into the River Chelmer, and when I went up to complain and ask where our sauce-packets were, she gave an excuse about how busy they were – except the restaurant wasn't even half full, and there wasn't a Just Eat/Deliveroo person in sight either. I left my review on Google and they asked me to email them for compensation, to which I never heard anything back. Needless to say, we've never been back since, even though the majority of reviews since then have been good.
I'm in the UK and a popeyes opened up a few months ago I feel disappointed because people kept on hyping up Popeyes like if it's best but really it's not better than KFC but not worse it's just different in my experience the chicken wasn't dry it was crispy the chicken burger was just tasteless bland and covered with way to much sauce everything else was the same just bland except for the chicken Wings was actually good
I actually like k.f.c but decided to try popeyes near me and I was disgusted by the size of the chicken portions and the taste was nowhere near as good as k.f.c either.i think I need to go back and try the burgers and that mash and gravy..great review again Gary
