as someone who wears sunscreen with makeup daily (after waiting for the sunscreen to dry ofc) and is honestly super allergic to sunlight (only half a joke as i am quite sun sensitive and have allergic reactions sometimes when the sun is beating down so i reapply religiously and try to stay out of it (unfortunately i HAVE TO spend A LOT of time under the sun anyway)), i hate the new beauty of joseon blue sunscreen. I was so excited cuz I thought it was gonna be a more affordable version of the numbuzin cooling sunscreen but turns out after wearing it that it peels so so badly. I even tried it WITHOUT make up cuz I thought the makeup was the problem cuz maybe the formula wasn’t compatible. Nope. Still peels so bad. doesnt do it on my hands when i tried the tester but it happens when applying the right amount for the face. I even bought from the official stores after I thought maybe it was heat damaged from the shipping from the official beauty of joseon local shopee but no it’s still the same problem. Peels worse than any other korean sunscreen when it comes to EVENTUAL peeling even though at the beginning it was as smooth as any other. and I’ve tried A LOT of korean sunscreens. my fav’s still the numbuzin cooling chemical sunscreen (the cooling sensation is sooo good unfortunately the tube can leak if not sealed really tight. tbh my fav ever but unfortunately one of the most expensive ones amongst my favs), skin 1004 chemical sunscreen the one in blue (love the pump concept and texture. do not love how the cap flies off so easily), haruharu wonder chemical sunscreen (thicc but somehow so good? i feel like this is the best for ppl who worry that watery sunscreen might not give enough protection. gives me comfort), reformulated orange purito waterproof sunscreen (doesn’t sting the eyes as much as other sports sunscreens) and biore athlizm (seriously this one is a sports sunscreen but after weeks of using it my skin looks so good. works well under makeup too. unfortunately it stings and is kind of not the best sensory-wise. hate to admit it but this makes my skin look the best but at the same time most likely to break me out in the list.). the original older beauty of joseon chemical sunscreen formula makes my skin looks so good so good and glowy but unfortunately breaks me out and gives me those blackhead looking things (i forgot what theyre called, i know theyre not blackheads) so easily if i forget to remove it for even one night. I wonder if the beauty of joseon blue chemical sunscreen just peels cuz my skin is the super dry type and it’s meant for oily people? idk. i bought three tubes from three different official places. all the same problem. i think i’ve given it enough chances cuz i wanted it to work on my skin so badly.

Hey, I'm wondering if you know much about water hardness levels and how that can affect the way certain ingredients work with shampoo and conditioner? I recently bleached my hair — currently hunting for a good amodimethicone product now! — but I heard somewhere that softer water helps hair care ingredients go on "smoother" or "work better"? Seemed like a weird hand-wavey thing to say, and I figured you might know.

I want to try incorporating nicacinamide again, but I'm one of those people whose skin is irritated by it (red bumps/breakouts). I use the cosrx aloe sunscreen, but its not the easiest to get all of the time, so I definitely want to try out the beauty of joseon one! sounds like a good day to day one
