I asked chefs, food-loving friends, and my Instagram followers to recommend the most underrated restaurants in London and here’s what I found. In this video, I visit 7 hidden gem spots across the city, from BBQ joints to Vietnamese pho, rating each out of 5: Benny the Butcher (Camden), Sen Viet (King’s Cross), Normah’s (Queensway), Tsiakkos & Charcoal (Greek-Cypriot, West London), Honey & Smoke (Great Portland Street), Katsu Wraps (Shoreditch), HolySmokes BBQ (Bow Road).
If you’re bored of the usual food spots, this video is packed with underrated London restaurants, cheap eats, and hidden gems worth the trip.

  1. FYI, Harrison, The Holy Smokes were a Southall gang of the 70’s known for their bank robberies and feared… well, let’s just say the residents of Southall and neighbouring boroughs (including the cops) held them in some regard: “Harry Singh sleeps in the samosas.” Figure it out. 😮
