Plot summary:
On the state-of-the-art spacecraft Avalon, 5,000 passengers are in hibernation for a 120-year journey to the planet Homestead II.
A malfunction causes one pod to open prematurely, waking up mechanical engineer Jim Preston (Chris Pratt).
After a year of isolation, he becomes desperately lonely and wakes up Aurora Lane (Jennifer Lawrence), a journalist who he developed feelings for by watching her passenger profile.
Initially, Aurora and Jim fall in love. However, the romance turns sour after she discovers that Jim deliberately woke her up, effectively stranding her in space with him for the rest of her life.
The ship begins to experience cascading systems failures, and Jim and Aurora must work together to save the lives of the thousands of sleeping passengers. .

This movie should have been called 31/Atlas
I accidentally woke my ex up 5 min early after moving their car into the driveway from down the block, due to there being no street parking from the night before.
My only mistake was i forgot to sit the keys down before I got back into bed and the jingle woke them up. No good deed goes unpunished 😂.
That was kinda the straw that broke the camels back and ended up being the catalyst for the end of the relationship. Among a other things of course but that lit the fuse that ignited the argument of arguments.
They should have made this a horror film…. Because as a love story, it’s fucked. The ending should have been like a twisted Stockholm vibe… because what he did was enormously horrific.
What a crap movie.
