I have seen the name Simon & Garfunkel in my comments ever since I reacted to Sound Of Silence by Disturbed. I’m not really sure why It has taken me so long to react to them but at least we are doing it now. I have so many songs I want to get to and now after hearing Simon & Garfunkel, I have even more. I really did not expect Bridge Over Troubled Water to sound the way it did and I think that is what makes this reaction even more special. Hopefully as we go further into their music, I’ll hear more songs like Bridge Over Troubled Water.

Elvis Presley’s version of Bridge Over Troubled Water, is my favorite rendition—but Simon and Garfunkel are Legends.
The reason this song is timeless is because it is PURE. Beautiful, untainted emotion not complicated by over-production. Art Garfunkel had a voice that seemed to come from the heavens, and the harmonies with Paul Simon synced perfectly. They are a pair that will never be repeated. There's a reason they say "They don't make them like they used to." I was only 10 when this came out, but even then, I knew how beautiful it was.
I love watching people listen to this for the first time! People are just stunned. Magical
