I have seen the name Simon & Garfunkel in my comments ever since I reacted to Sound Of Silence by Disturbed. I’m not really sure why It has taken me so long to react to them but at least we are doing it now. I have so many songs I want to get to and now after hearing Simon & Garfunkel, I have even more. I really did not expect Bridge Over Troubled Water to sound the way it did and I think that is what makes this reaction even more special. Hopefully as we go further into their music, I’ll hear more songs like Bridge Over Troubled Water.

I had the privilege of hearing this song introduced at a Simon and Garfunkel concert in 1970. I was overwhelmed then and still am when I hear this song. I still have the same
reaction when I hear it and it’s the one that you are experiencing as you hear it for the first

It will bring tears again…I avoid it. It's not better than sex, from a 61-year-old-woman, and it's so damned sad. I also can't take "He Ain't Heavy, He's MY Brother." Just like the sad animal commercials, I just can't take it. I'd be on a three-hour crying jag.
