I remember my little sister using Pampers when we would travel in the early 60’s. The only thing you could say about them was they were better than having to drag around used diapers in the car. When my kids were sometimes using them in the late 70’s and early 80’s you had to be careful to not tear the plastic or pull the sticky tabs off. More than once I would wind up using a strip of tape to fasten it on, which then wouldn’t come off properly potentially making a mess with a pooped in diaper.

Me. Too , I had awful pigeon toes so bad I tripped. No Drs in my house in 1963, but my parents paid for a pair of huge red orthopedic shoes that I wore for 4 years and I got teased at school. I think their mascot was a Basset Hound , I fell in love with them and have had many Bassets through the years. maybe another person who wore Buster Brown knows.
