I spent the day with the founders of Mesh, a startup building smarter tools for modern CFOs. In this episode, I follow the Mesh team as they juggle back-to-back discovery calls, sharpen their product direction, and navigate the mental demands of startup life. But it’s not just about business.
Somewhere between product strategy and post-work reflections, we dive into the surprising connection between athletic discipline and entrepreneurial endurance, and why more founders should be training like athletes.
This episode is a rare look at the rhythm, rituals, and raw mindset behind a real Silicon Valley startup still in the trenches.

that vocal fry is killing me. Why? Why can't you talk normal like a normal human being?
Thanks for sharing more about what they do 😊 Enjoyed it.
Are u Brisbane based? Btw awesome videos love them so much
loved the introduction. and also these lines stood out to me
" I think our philosophy is we want to do everything ourselves before we bring on people because I feel even for those who are joining us honestly they are risking their careers on this company. I think one we need to know exactly how to best utilize them which means that we need to know exactly what to ask of them even if we might not be the design experts or sales expert in my case. because I feel I've seen too often even at big companies where you hire for a role that you don't quite know how to do or how to leverage and it just fizzels out and your burn goes high. "
that sounds like a moral compass to me which is great. and also obviously shows how deep they are trying consistently to be aware of what they are building.
Pivoting IS a skill but most people just forget it. example: Yahoo
and "You have to really optimize your life"
thank you Will you are doing great bro. 👌
Their biggest mistake is naming it some generic term like Mesh. There are like 5000 other companies called Mesh. Also, what even is this video? They're just talking, not even doing real work. Another startup in the bin in 2 years.
Mate your channel is a goldmine. Thank you so much!
Will do you post this on X? What is your handle there? That is where I see all the YC people hanging out on social media.
Just found your channel. Phenomenal videos and mission statements. Truly inspiring and insightful.
Wonderful to see how the startup works in the initial phase….Wishing you duos best of luck.
