Id love to talk to this guy about my situation. Have a feeling im just screwed.
Stock i used to have for an oil company forget the name but they went completely bankrupt, started a new company which had a new name and ticker on the stock exchange and their evaluation was more than the company was originally worth. That isnt the f'ed up part. For people that invested in their original stock like me they SOMEHOW rigged the system i guess legally to where when they paid us back the money we lost it was around a tenth of the money we originally had. So seemingly they basically just took our money didn't give it back then used that to fund their new business with

Today's stock market valuations are directly related to an increased money supply. Since COVID the market is artificially elevated by government deficit spending and debt, and subsequent devaluation of the dollar. There's little to no organic growth. Has nothing to do with people betting on a company's future earnings. There's more money in circulation, it needs to go somewhere so people are throwing it into the market. That's what's different this time.
I’m making way more on the market than in real estate. This time period is ripe for market!
