In my observation, the girlies making this place hot aren’t actually foodies… like, I make $60k/yr and for me that’s a big deal lol. I LOVE food and all sorts of alcohol. I’m not really a gym girlie, but I love the beach/pool and will exercise socially with friends.
The people who actually grocery shop here live extremely differently. Food isn’t entertainment (except to monetize yourself eating it for content). It seems that the objective is more about how to make it as beautiful as possible and as healthy as possible rather than how to make it as delicious as possible.
Completely different mindset.

when you are paying more for 7 items than a grocery run at the most high end grocery store in Switzerland, you are doing something wrong. Unless each of these items contains either saffron, caviar, white truffle or edible gold, it's not worth the price. I'm swiss, I'm used to paying higher prices for literally everything. But that measly tray of average looking and sounding food is not worth 26 dollars. They are scamming you. It's like an italian tourist trap where they serve 10 euro pasta in a wine glass and sell that for 60 euros to american tourists . Only this time they trap their own people.
Literally none of what was show in this video looks appetizing
