My sweet mate at college had a poster or Linda Ronstadt on his wall. She is beautiful. I also love your reactions to great music!
It’s a pedal steel. I’m surprised how many people don’t know what it is. For country music or roots music it’s tuned to an E9 or C6 tuning. There are multiple foot and knee levers to achieve the different bends. Also pedal steel players use a volume pedal to fade the bends in and out.
