The reason why your urinal talk didn’t work was because you broke customary code. When opening a conversation at a urinal, always look down, and then raise your eyes until they meet, you will then be in the clear to say “nice watch”. After that the conversation is blown open. It particularly helps when they aren’t wearing a watch.
