  1. Patience is a virtue. We hear it a lot. In order to even begin to understand how to gain better patience you have to understand what virtue is. Virtue is behavior showing high moral standards. The root to understanding yourself, is recognizing the standards that you have. Some of us judge and base our standards on our peers and or surroundings. True virtue comes from within.

    Virtue, in MY opinion, is something we posses WITHIN. Virtue is knowing the difference between right and wrong and applying it to your actions. How many times have you known something was wrong inside, but you still proceeded with the action and later felt ridicule, shame, or the feeling of failure?

    THAT, shows that deep inside, you possess true virtue. In KNOWING, there comes a confidence in DOING. The failure, ridicule, and shame is part of the process.

    We hear the phrase, “Trust The Process” from a lot of successful people in the world. Although there are many people that say “trust the process”, with such vigor and confidence….what is THE PROCESS, and how do you recognize when you’re IN The Process?

    THE PROCESS is one of my favorite eras to view a fellow comrade go thru. “The Process”, is The Good, The Bad, & The Ugly so to speak. The process will show you your true level of faith and confidence. The process is the period where the mind, body and soul are battle tested at all angles. I’ve seen many overly confident that The Process was just a phase and fail horribly before even getting their feet wet. Although they both start with the letter P, Process & Phase are completely different in this aspect. If you know, you know.

    The process comes with ups and downs that can sometimes seem unfair and unbearable and even make you question God or whatever you believe in….but if one learns to stay focused and be still, the process reveals the test within itself making it easier to overcome, knowing there’s a light at the end of the tunnel.

    The process is where we build heart, character, faith, resiliency, consistency and discipline amongst many other character traits. There are times where we may feel as if we’ve lost ourselves in the process. This is actually attached to a fear of change. Studies show that 3 out 5 people in 1 room, fear change, or new things. So if there’s 5 people in your house now, 3 of you subconsciously fear advancing. Only 1 of those 3 will be willing to go thru The process to become the very best version of themselves. Are you that 1? All it takes is discipline.

    Disciple equals freedom.
    “All you gotta do is…” lol. We laugh at that intro to a foolish plan but, sometimes it’s really that simple. I observed a close acquaintance of mine going thru relationship problems and alcoholism. I would tell him every other day “All you gotta do is workout and everything will change.”. We don’t realize how hard “All you gotta do” sounds to a person that’s not used to DOING.

    As hard as it may seem to believe, something as simple as working out briefly every morning and night, has changed many many lives substantially over the course of a year. Yes, we look in the mirror and we see new muscles bulging, new curves and etc, but what we don’t see in the mirror, is the growth in mental stability. If you ask someone depressed for some friendly advice Jan.1st 2024, and then left them for a year while allowing them to workout, when you return for advice on the same issue Jan.1st 2025, the difference will indeed shock you.

    Working out/exercise in my opinion, is the best cure for anything. Can’t quit cigarettes? Workout. Low confidence? Workout. Want to slow down time? Workout. Your partner isn’t as into as you would like them to be? Need peace in your life after that rough breakup? Need to build confidences to attack your goals head on? Want to be around longer for your loved ones and show YOURSELF that you love YOU and you’ll give your all to prove it?! Say it with me! Workout!
