I'm surprised too — mainly at the seemingly good bread from a place well-known for soft squishy dough!
The fried chicken inside is weird, but I think the size is perfectly appropriate. A lot of times a banh mi from a street vendor in Vietnam is not a huge sandwich, but sort of a walking-around snack.
Have you tried the Boomer Banh Mi?
