Novel idea: put a QR code on the vending machine and ask customers what they would like to buy from a vending machine
Probably laced with rat poison and I guess who’s gonna get sued or go to jail for murder you
maybe put a sheet of paper on the side of the vending machine with a table with the list of all the possible products you have and then people can just tick what they’re interested in

There’s this unsolved case in Japan around the 1980s/1990s surrounding a serial killer that’s never been found, his method of killing was leaving unopened drinks inside the vending machine pockets and people assuming a free unopened drink left out is safe, consumed it, only to die from having swallowed a chemical substance that is extremely poisonous and lethal. Just putting it out there.
