So you have heard of glass skin … but have you heard of mirror skin? You might’ve seen this Korean beauty skincare concept floating around tiktok—skin so smooth, clear, and glowing it looks like it could reflect light. But what is mirror skin really? Is it achievable? And how do you get there without using 12 products twice a day?
In this video, I’m breaking down the science behind mirror skin, what makes it different from just ‘dewy’ skin, and the real steps I recommend to help patients achieve that radiant, healthy glow—without overdoing it.”

I Love Korean skin care. Been using it for 10 years plus now. If you want no irritation ever no matter what you use then try it. I have super sensitive skin and have had no irritation ever no matter what I use. Also the price point is so amazing which allows you to try new things as well. It's slow and steady for Korean skin care but worth it. Just like what Dr. Ellis said it's about hydration not about over exfoliation. I would try a cleanser and sunscreen first.
My fave sunscreen has to be P20 Urban defence. Apart from the antioxidatns to help with pollution, it lasts 10+ hours, so I don't need to reapply every 2 hours.
I didn’t even think about Korean sunscreen!!! Thank you so much
Love the color of that sweater on you! Would you happen to remember where it’s from?
For oily skin toner
I have been struggling to find a sunscreen which doesn’t pill on my skin. Even the one by Haruharu wonder that you mentioned (and love) pills on me. No idea what, if anything, I am doing wrong. Any suggestions for a K beauty sunscreen that would be less likely to pill on my skin? TY!
I love roundlab sunscreen. The only sunscreen that is kind to my sensitive skin. And it is not sticky too.
The Medicube toner looks so good but whyyyyy does it have fragrance ARGH
Korean beauty products sold in US are NOT the same as the ones sold in due to the FDA regulation even if the package look the same.
Hi, I have mature skin, with winter around the corner my skin tends to dry, it is combination but winter seems to pull the moisture out during the night. I would love to work towards Mirror Skin. I do have rosacea and sensitive. What do you believe should be the first item to use and work my way up?
