Many people don't know about the amount of foreign propaganda that flooded Yugoslavia after titos death. Both the US and the Soviet Union wanted to sway the population to their respective ideologies, which then ended up provoking the Civil War, which was the bloodiest conflict in Europe since the world wars and ever since. It all boiled down to the everlasting power struggle between the u.s. and Russia. Looking back at Afghanistan in the 80s, Vietnam in the 60s and Korea in the 50s, there seems to be a pattern here…. kinda sucks really. No wonder most of the world hates the US and Russia
We all already know how Yugoslavia was sabotaged from iniside, west wnned to rip it off apart, and they did it. Even ppl in africa have that in their elementary history book in schools.
Yugoslavia before Tito was a peasant country. Everyone everywhere were just mostly poor farmers. When you travel through the balkans and you see some of the Selos some of our parents grew up in how far they are from any major cities how hard life was it’s kinda crazy.
Never ask "Yugonostalgics" aka "useful idiots" for which side Tito fought in WW1.
