🤩
I learned something new today.
I am a Malayali. So when you speak highly about our industry, it truly makes me happy. Even though Lokah has become a massive success, there is still a group of people who hate this movie. Of course, when a film succeeds, it doesn’t mean everyone must like it. For some people, the movie may not work at all—that’s their personal opinion, and I completely respect that.
But there are many people who degrade the movie unnecessarily, without any valid reason. Among them are Tamil viewers, Kannada viewers, Telugu viewers, Hindi-speaking viewers, and even some Malayalis. Their main reason for criticizing this movie is supposedly its quality and content.
Tamil viewers are saying:
“We liked Sivakarthikeyan’s Maaveeran more than Lokah Chapter 1!”
Maaveeran is indeed a good movie, and it received all the appreciation it deserved here in Kerala ❤️. But when it released in Tamil Nadu, it didn’t receive the recognition it actually deserved there. And now after Lokah became successful, those same people are suddenly hyping up Maaveeran just to pull Lokah down. Even though Maaveeran is a good film, wasn’t its own failure mainly because of the Tamil audience themselves? So why blame Malayalis now?
Similarly, Telugu viewers say things like:
“The total collection of Lokah would just be equal to the remuneration of Allu Arjun or Prabhas!”
I still don’t understand why they are so jealous 🫤🫤💯.
The location is not Kochi this is bangalore…
