  1. As a hog farmer, and one that does non confinement, I've had a very tame sow. I bet I could sleep in the same hut as her, and she wouldn't care, so long as the hogs didn't squeal. I've also laid down around other litters for fun in the barn that had multiple litters. If they trust you, and the pigs don't squeal, they don't care. If the pigs squeal, or the chickens in with the sows sound off, you may be in for an issue. 😀 Chickens and hogs can get along very well, to the point the chickens ride on top of the sows.

  2. A nice story is about the German word "urlaub" which means holidays. Because this was originally the permission of your lord to leave your land classically to serve as a temporary soldier for his overlord.

  3. Why are you being disingenuous? There were vanishingly few black people in medieval England as there were vanishingly few white people in Ethiopia! Major port cities would always have a more diverse population than other places.
