Cabbage Beef Casserole… a hot dish for a cool night! There seems to be some controversy between “hot dish” and “casserole”. Hot dish is supposedly layered and casseroles are mixed but I am not buying it. In the South, if the recipe has several ingredients and it is served hot… it’s a casserole. 😂 The simplicity of this recipe makes it so versatile. It could be a side or shine as a meal! Yes, cornbread will complete it! I added salt/pepper, but use your favorite seasoning and bump up the flavor a notch! #shineforjesus #grandmascooking #cabbage #memesrecipessc

I grew up in the Northwest and anything that came in a 9×12 dish or any Corelle baking dish, was a casserole! I have never even heard of a "hot dish". Sounds spicy to me. LOL! The casserole looks great!
