Mike Myers got offered a cameo appearance for Halloween H20 but turned it down
Fun Fact: A film named Baby Driver mentioned this as a joke. Doc ordered everyone to put on Michael Myers masks, but one of the crooks got Austin Powers masks instead, thinking Doc meant Mike Myers. The joke was there because the creators of the movie couldn’t get the rights to the actual Micheal Myers masks, so instead, they asked Mike Myers if they could use Austin Powers masks instead as a joke for the film. Mike agreed and accepted, saying that it would be very funny.
And they didnt even give him the role!
I watched Austin powers before Halloween. As a dumb little kid, I knew Austin powers real name was Mike Myers. I asked my sister if that’s Austin Powers under the Michael Myers mask lol
