  1. Personally, I find having 5 steps in my morning and evening routine suits my needs best, as someone living in a dry climate that has sensitive combination skin. I have to wash twice a day to avoid Keritosis Pilaris complications. 1) gentle cleanser OR active cleanser for my skin issue 2) hypochlorous acid spray, let dry 3)gentle brightening toner to help-> 4)multi-purpose skin barrier serum work better due to dry climate, 5) sunscreen or face cream. If I miss any of these steps my skin flips out. If I do more my skin gets irritated. I only double cleanse when necessary, and I don’t do well with dedicated exfoliating/peel masks. Reusable sheet mask on bad skin days/middle of winter. Let serum completely set/dry down before moisturizer or you risk fungal issues

  2. I follow Dr Dray’s basic advice, however, I like to try different products such as snail mucin and I don’t know where to fit that in to my skin care routine. Do I use it on bare skin and then put moisturizer over it? I usually put hyaluronic acid on damp skin and then moisturizer. Should I stop that so that I can try snail mucin?
