Thats a hard drive magnet
With torroidal coil, shouldn't the magnetic field almost cancel out outside of the torroid?

I like the use of what appears to be a hard drive magnet.
I like those magnets. Use them a lot on screen doors. They don't even have to touch to keep closet doors closed. Quite quiet
