We noticed a group of viewers being unhappy with our storytelling of the rise of Shia and the caliphs. Please keep in mind the shia movement very much existed though not officially, more politically, as they supported the caliph Ali to be the first (shiatu Ali). All in all within Islam, groups never agree with one thing or another, so we just took the neutral point, if you don't like it, don't watch it

  2. Jizya tax was never unjust. People moved to muslim lands to trade bcuz of the very tax as they were robbed elsewhere while in muslim lands they were protected bcuz of that very tax and also trade was beneficial for them too.

  3. sooo many mistakes in this video.
The Levant was also arab, not only the Arabian Peninsula.
The Persians were Sunni Muslims at the time; they became Shia later, around the time of the Ottomans.
Not to mention, the origin of the Sunni–Shia conflict was not actually right after the first caliph was chosen, but much later, during the time of the third caliph, Uthman ibn Affan. At that time, many rogue groups with different motives gathered to kill him and used the story of the caliphate debate as justification to choose a new leader.

The Shia later developed their beliefs so far that many consider them no longer in line with Islam. This is due to several reasons, such as attributing divinity to Ali and his sons, believing in the divine nature of their twelve Imams, accusing the daughter of the first caliph (who was also the wife of the Prophet) of shameful acts, and claiming that the Qur’an was altered because it did not include evidence supporting their belief in Ali’s divinity.

Later, during the time of Ali, some people even considered him divine, and when Ali heard about this, he executed them for blasphemy.
Ironically, these same Shia promised to protect Husayn, the son of Ali, if he wished to become caliph. They invited him to Iraq with letters full of loyalty and promises, only for him to be killed later by the local governor of Iraq, while those Shia cowardly denied him and remained silent.

Also, the Abbasids were not Shia! They were Sunni Muslims. Their story is much more complicated and not based on a religious conflict or a Persian comeback.

The only Shia monarchy in history at that time was in Egypt during the Crusades, which was later overthrown by the Ayyubid dynasty (of which Salah al-Din was a part).

I honestly did not continue watching the video because of the many mistakes I noticed. Please research well before u post such content. Not to mention the way you draw the characters to make them seem evil is very stupid to be honest.
