In 1805, Napoleon is planning his move against the Third Coalition of Britain, Russia and Austria. He is determined to finally defeat Britain, and if he can manage to get the French army across the English Channel, his huge and experienced land forces would surely capture the island. Only the formidable British navy stands in his way.
Britain has ‘ruled the waves’ for many years, but now faces the combined forces of France and her ally, Spain. Nevertheless, when the British fleet catches sight of their enemy off Cape Trafalgar, its commander, Admiral Nelson, will not hesitate to engage.
Admiral Nelson is outnumbered, but he has a typically daring plan of attack. The fierce battle that follows will be etched in time – a fateful day for Nelson, but also one that will seal his status as a titan of naval history.

Amazing how did this all without any human being on board.
26:54 Collingwood didn’t follow Nelson’s orders and is to blame for the chaos that followed.
stunning content guys, really love how you bring these historic events to life, please keep it up
Fascinating episode! But I can’t help wondering… who was greater, Nelson or the Spaniard Blas de Lezo? Which victory was more impressive—and which defeat more humiliating? The Spanish against the English at Trafalgar (33 British ships vs. 41 Spanish), or the English against the Spanish at Cartagena de Indias (186 British ships vs. barely 6 Spanish)? Quite a contrast in numbers and outcomes!
Personally, I’d say Blas de Lezo was far superior to Nelson, and the British defeat at Cartagena de Indias far more significant than Trafalgar. Would a 3D video of Cartagena battle possible?
Whens the next Nelson video coming out?
Nelson's sarcophagus is a thing of beauty – originally commissioned by Cardinal Wolsey in the 1520's
Frankly French navy was not powerful enough to transport the army and stay there to keep the channel open for supply routes. It would have been a greater disaster than egypt. In short Trafalgar didnt save britain from invasion.
It’s amazing to see how the English took it to all of them and now we can’t even stop illegal immigrants breaking in on inflatable dingys 😂😂😂😂 how the mighty have fallen
What about a series on Suffren's campaign in India?
