In 1805, Napoleon is planning his move against the Third Coalition of Britain, Russia and Austria. He is determined to finally defeat Britain, and if he can manage to get the French army across the English Channel, his huge and experienced land forces would surely capture the island. Only the formidable British navy stands in his way.
Britain has ‘ruled the waves’ for many years, but now faces the combined forces of France and her ally, Spain. Nevertheless, when the British fleet catches sight of their enemy off Cape Trafalgar, its commander, Admiral Nelson, will not hesitate to engage.
Admiral Nelson is outnumbered, but he has a typically daring plan of attack. The fierce battle that follows will be etched in time – a fateful day for Nelson, but also one that will seal his status as a titan of naval history.

Fun fact: the blood on Lord Nelson’s coat was not his own, but that of his friend and secretary John Scott who was hit directly by a cannonball in the opening salvos of the battle and splattered all over the deck.
The hoary old 'kiss me Hardy' line again. Nelson said 'Kismet (fate) Hardy' and it was misreported by sailors unfamiliar with the phrase.
This battle truly needs a film
Fantastic, I love whats been done
I'd be so pissed if I was pickled in a barrel of brandy after the naval service I had just had..
Thank you for the educational videos and not using AI!
Is the soundtrack to this available?
Looking at the UK today Nelson would likely say, 'It weren't worth it.'
If we weren’t outnumbered the odds would be too far in our favour to be sporting
You don't explain any of the actions. Why did the Vilnev(sp?) go to the east indies? To pick up a ship? That makes no sense. Any ideas?
