The more I make donuts, the more I dream about opening a donut shop… so you can actually taste how soft and fluffy these are. 🫶🍩
We went blueberry picking, and of course, I turned them into the most beautiful blueberry glaze for these donuts. 💜🫐
Dough (12 donuts):
• 825 g all-purpose flour
• 75 g sugar
• 80g sourdough starter( optional)
• 7.5 g yeast
• 345 g milk
• 1 1/2 eggs (1 large + half whisked)
• 15 g salt
• 165 g butter
Roll dough to 1.5 cm thick, cut 9 cm circles with holes in the center. Let rise until puffy.
Glaze:
• 600 g powdered sugar
• 250 g fresh blueberries
• Lemon juice to taste
Fry at 350°F until golden, dip in glaze, and try not to eat them all warm.
