antiques… what Am I olds? Am I the old guy now?
After pulling copper for a long time, THIS IS PRETTY COOL!
I hope you make a video of every piece showing it’s operation and the 5 w’s of it.
"Anyone who abuses commas like I do isn't trying to be period accurate"
We don't need no stinking technicians! We need everyone to have a degree in Underwater Basket Weaving. If you don't have a degree and a student loan for the rest of your life you are stoopid!
To be fair, AI isn't coming for code jobs either—at least, not in the long run. Anyone who tells you differently is either a mountebank or a mark who already fell for it.
If you're interested in programming, do everything you can to learn the nuts and bolts and how to code without the crutch of AI, because all the "vibe coding" is about to make a lot of really expensive issues that only classically trained software engineers can fix.
Nice Oregon Trail reference!
One of the best videos Ive seen on this topic.
My brother, a frontalot reference? Thank you
I found that understanding the old stuff helps me diagnose problems with new and even electronic components. The old stuff had a process that hasn't really changed to this day with the exception of the process being carried out by a computer rather than a float switch etc..
