It sucks so much because when I try to discuss transphobia within publishing (literally got a pass from some editors because it is “too difficult to market me and this book in the current market” meanwhile all of these cishet gothic romances are getting picked up FAST, and it’s like oh right of course lmao), it gets drowned out by people who pity market and claim whatever FOR SALES while authors like myself are trying to pull back the curtain on publishing as education is so so exhausting😭 (not to mention a certain author many of us long time viewers of yours know now trying to say “stay out of reviewer spaces”, like riiight maybe take that advice yourself!) anyway, incredible video as always and apologies for the yap comment lol
