💯 % agree. I'm 54 & stopped wearing eyeliner like 10 years ago. I have hooded eyes & black eyeliner I feel makes me look sick. I have friends my age that still do their eyeliner the same way as they did in their 20's & it's not a good look. I don't even hardly ever wear eyeshadow anymore. If I'm going somewhere special than I will. Otherwise on a regular day it's blush, contour, highlighter,mascara & my brows. I do wear foundation & concealer too. That's it.
That's npt why we wear black eyeliner.

Question here! So i am 42, mixed middle eastern and canadian decent. Your advice makes a lot of sense. But then i see these beautiful, mature, middle eastern women wearing more khôl looks.
Could you give some advice to embrace that middle eastern exotic look?

Wow I know the ticnic to use eyeliner over 40s.
The black circles are youth busting…just makes you look old

Do not find this a criticism but the less makeup you have surrounding your eyes the more youthful you look. You are lovely. Smudged, feathered,no sharp edges is a far more attractive method than harsh edges.
