1. Raj Sweets: We kick things off with a classic Patna breakfast. We try their Poori Sabzi with a spicy mustard (sarson) rayta, crispy Jalebis, and the legendary Bihari sweet, Chandrakaala. But the show-stealer is an unbelievable combination: hot Gulab Jamun topped with a thick layer of fresh Malai!
2. Hanuman Mandir (Bailey Road): We visit this famous temple for a truly unique local specialty you won’t find anywhere else. It’s a sweet, savory, and tangy mix of Boondi (Buniya), Sev, and fresh Dahi (yogurt). We also try the comforting Dahi-Chivda (beaten rice with yogurt).
3. Authentic Bihari Thali: For the finale, we head to the stalls opposite the Eco Park (Secretariat) for a ₹90 pure, home-style Bihari Thali. This is the ultimate comfort food: Bhaat (rice), Daal, Bhujia (fried veggies), Chokha (mashed potato), and papad.
