This is great… I am learning valuable insight with this dialogue. Discovered Adriano through a friend and am still building my confidence to put more into "yield" strategy as I transition into forced retirement. My investment is small right now and this gives me the confidence of putting in more rapidly. It's helpful to have these 3 styles. I've been forced into retirement between a crappy job market these last 5 years and aging parents. It was more stressful looking for work and being in roles for paychecks only with no stability with getting laid off with jobs eliminated that stress wasn't worth it. I have put in $50-60k in past year and will start escalating my monthly contributions to build the portfolio. I am 61 and look at current investments as an alternate to early CPP. Like you Adriano and Erica, I am Canadian and live with my family part of the year in Canada, part in Latin America. Funding the lifestyle 70% from PI and 30% from consulting projects. We are also invested as a core foundation in the usual CC ETfs often mentioned and reviewed in your videos. For diversification, I also really like BDCS with PBDC ETF as a stronghold in my RRSP. I was researching a Canadian ETF for my TFSA and cash account that somehow would be a good proxy for PBDC in Canada. Last week I found INCM on the TSX by Accelerate (Based in Calgary). It owns the main US BDCs such as Ares Capital and Blue Owl.There is a hedged and USD version also. And pays monthly..better than PBDC which pays quarterly…First, I hope it could also be an alternative idea for your viewers, secondly I thought with your aura, knowledge and contacts, you could interview these people! Thanks again with all the valuable information on your channel, never sensational or criticising others, which we love! (Individually I am also following Paul and Jordan !)
❤❤ loved the video. Erika and Adriano thank you for putting this together. I am an American who follows 2 of the 4 channels from the participants. I was so excited when I found Adrianos channel and when I reached out to see what US CC ETF Funds crossed over or wete similar to the Canadian CC ETF Funds he spoke about on his channel. He was gracious in pointing me in the direction to look, then he started doing his monthly US series which was a game changer for me. Thank you Adriano for the monthly US videos. I was particularly interested in the portion of this video around 1:20:58. I reached out to many of the Canadian fund managers and asked then if the had plans or would consider creating funds in the US and they all said no (I believe though if enough Americans and the participants on this video) expressed to the Canadian fund manager there American audiences is requesting it they would listen. Erika you did an amazing job and I hope you continue to do these types of videos. I am sharing your videos and channel with anyone who will listen 😂 . Looking forward to more American content. 😊
I started my PII this August after having a coaching session with Adrian. I agree with Paul and Perry about being tax. I don't concern about tax because it's free money even if I have to pay tax.
