At this point it's actually impossible to change due to having to update anything that isn't metric including every single road sign and the cost is simply too high
Last time I checked, there’s only two non-communist countries in the world by your logic, USA and Burma. That’s some great company, you lil’ imperialists
The ancient system of weights and measures was based on units of 6 snd 60 instead of the metric units of 10. The old system made sense because it is easier to do division because 60 is evenly divisable by 2,3,4,5,6,10,12,15,20 and 30. It is interesting to note that the metric system was used to change the measurement of time. Also, geometry, trigonometry and various navigational systems still use the old systems.

So we only had that one shot?
I've heard somewhere that only like 2% of the world uses the imperial system
most deep rooted problems in former british colonies are there because of the british
Thank you pirates

Well in Britain we at least switched to the metric system eventually, guess who decided not to
