This method is pretty fool-proof. As mentioned, eggs have to be fresh, but the sieve does help with loose egg whites. Favorite recipe : poached eggs atop toasted Dave’s Bread with avocado spread lightly seasoned with garlic salt & pepper. Great breakfast or lunch.

Sorry always tried this way and no way . Best way is in the microwave. Just put in a cup of water and 60 secs later great poached eggs. No pan no waiting really fast.
