✨ Poha Suji Balls Recipe ✨
Ingredients:
Poha (Flattened Rice) – 1 cup
Semolina (Suji) – ½ cup
Fresh Curd – 4 tbsp
Salt – as per taste
Coriander Leaves – 2 tbsp (chopped)
Sesame Seeds – 2 tbsp
Mustard Seeds – 2 tbsp
Curry Leaves – 2 tbsp
Green Chillies – 3–4 (slit or chopped)
Refined Oil – 3–4 tbsp
Cumin Seeds – 2 tbsp
Asafoetida (Hing) – 1 tsp
Red Chilli Powder – as required
Process:
1. Wash the poha and drain the water completely.
2. Add curd and semolina to the poha, mix well, and let it rest for 10–15 minutes.
3. Add salt and coriander leaves, then shape the mixture into small balls.
4. Steam the balls for 5 minutes and set them aside.
5. Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, hing, curry leaves, and green chillies.
6. Sauté lightly, then add red chilli powder.
7. Add the steamed poha balls and toss gently.
8. Finally, add sesame seeds and coriander leaves.
9. Serve hot and enjoy this soft & crispy snack! 😋
