It’s truly amazing how mature people were back then compared to modern times. They weren’t afforded the luxury of immaturity.
Lying down on your back is the very WORST birthing position, but is still done today for the mere convenience of medical staff. Squatting is best.
As we hear more and more about women in history you come to realize it's true behind every great man is a great woman. Until current history most history was written and told only about men. The history is always been there . Sounds like although Henry the 7th got credit for bringing the 100-year war to an end it seems it was actually his mother. And it was her mother that pushed her in to the position power she obtained.
My sister was 9 years old when she got her.. it just makes me wonder why on Earth would nature make it possible for something that our bodies are not ready for. That even more likely would cause death. How Margaret and her son survive that is just amazing.
Have these children ever been safe because it doesn’t seem like to me they’ve ever been safe
