This sounds over produced or something! I grew up with this song and it never sounded like this. I like the original version much better.
I was raised in Ventura County, and it isn't part of Los Angeles; it is North of LA. It includes cities such as Oxnard-Thousand Oaks (where Tom Selleck has an avocado farm), – Camarillo-Simi Valley. It has changed and gotten very busy. It is nothing like it was years ago. It is sad to see all the traffic. Yeah, there's definitely something wrong with this version. It sounds muffled and it doesn't sound authentic.
