He is on the soundtrack from this scene but she also released the single which did mot include Kris. That version is also on the album. They did not date, that was a question asked of Kris. The song Evergreen won the Academy Award for best song. Barbra was dating Producer Jon Peters during this film and i believe it was his first film as he was a hairdresser in hollywood and did this curly style for her that became a huge trend. The movie Shampoo is loosely based on Jon Peters.Barbra made him a hollywood name as a producer. Barbra always sings live in her films as she cannot lip sync like most other films are made.
