I would place Bread right up there in the same vein as America and Three Dog Night. They are into the easy rock. And they are fantastic.

You reviewed Everything I own with Don where it was the live show at the BBC in 1978. They perform this song in that show . You will then see the different guitars

On the intro and into the song there are at least three main guitar tracks going on.
An electric slide guitar, a steel string acoustic guitar and an electric guitar into a Wah Wah pedal.

Bread's great. A lot of radio friendly songs. Consider investing in a keyboard, like a synth, or weighted action(emulates a piano feel). You can relate to all the instruments by learning one, including some basic theory and maybe a couple of lessons to get you rolling. You are an artist. Artists can do anything. It would just be another way to communicate with your musical savvy audience. Just a thought. 😊
Yes, Dude, it does have some electric guitar in this piece. Surely even a hip hop/rapper can tell this much about guitars.
