It's math. That's all music is in it's most basic form. Whatever time signature you're playing in , this one is in 4/4 time, the song is divided up into different parts. If there's an intro like this one has, you played that for two to four stanzas. Then you have the verse, general also four stanzas, you'll either have a prechorus of about two stanzas leading to the verse, or go straight into the the verse, which is generally four stanzas, then you do it again. Then comes a break , usually in rock it's a guitar or sax solo that lasts eight stanzas, the it goes back to a final verse, or the chorus again, or it could revert back to the sound of the first verse like this one did, then you might have an outro to end then song. That's straightforward rock. When you're listening to progressive rock, all of those rules are generally adhered to, but then again not, and you may have several time changes and several key changes as well.
13:32 White Lion "Wait" is worth listening to.
You need to do Lynyrd Skynyrd – Norn To Run. It is a song about the Van Zant's dad.
No, its definitely tempo changes. You have a musicians ear bro! That bridge goes from half- time to full – time with the drum beat.
It is similar to Renegade by Styx. but in my opinion, it's more like a song by them you haven't heard. Crystal Ball
Damn right Super Group!!!!!
Perhaps a better analogy for the quiet intro- then they rock you ass: Armed and Dangerous. From Anthrax
LOTS of those songs out there- and I probably like most of em, lol.
Cd at Home
2 of the best super groups.
Velvet revolver
Damn Yankees.!!
Easily their best song…
