  1. This song is actually poking fun at "Traditional County Music" but let me add a little warning, don't go any deeper, this guy has some of the most racist stuff you'll ever here. If you like country there's a couple of songs the bars used to play and some they'd throw you out for playing

  2. He did an imitation of Waylon Jennings, Charlie Pride, and Merle Haggard, then, the "Darlin' Darlin" was Conway Twitty (Hello Darlin). Go to a bar where this song is played, the audience gets into it, almost any bar, they know the words, and it's fun. I can't find a bar response but it's amazing.

  3. He has quite a few x rated songs that won't be played on mainstream media, lol. I always thought his vocals sounded like some of the artists he mentioned in this song, and people confused his songs with other artists. I always thought he made this song as a parody calling someone out for it. You got to do a reaction to "The Ride" gives you chill bumps

  4. For those who don't know what they sound like, go back and listen to a sample of Waylon Jennings, Charlie Pride, and especially Merle Haggard. While he's not spot on, he's close to their voice/style for the period this was recorded. However, the last one he mentioned (Merle Haggard) was incredible at imitations including Buck Owens and Marty Robbins. Some just have that range where they can, and DAC did a good job here.
