Hair of the Dog is when you have a hangover the next morning and drink the SAME drink that gave you a hangover-the drink is the "hair" of the dog.
I know you're not a drinker but still surprised you never heard it ,but we know it as a remedy for hage over ,it never worked that well for me I just felt twice as bad the next day lol,but any love Nazareth and this song pretty wild enjoy lol " my favorites are"broken down angle " and this flight tonight" turn on your receiver "bad bad boys" pretty wild, every song on there greatest hits album is amazing

You overthink some of these titles. Sometimes its just part of a phrase heard in a conversation.
The "hair of the dog" refers to having some alcohol in the morning to combat one's hangover from the night before. I believe the full expression is to have a little of the "hair of the dog that bit you." Had never heard that old superstition about combatting a rabies bite with hair from the dog!
I think it should be a fight song for our protesters! Kind of a cheer leading type of song. Then I got worried it might bring out too much anger.
Now I think Puff the Magic Dragon would be a better protest song.
