Out of the blue, into the black can also refer to the brevity of life itself, one day youre here then youre gone
P, you absolutely owe it to yourself to review Jamiie Johnson’s YOU ARE MY SUNSHINE and THERE IS NO SUNSHINE. The words “heavy” and “dark” do not begin to describe them. You’ve GOT to review them together. Just saying.
This song has two parts. Part one is My My , Hey Hey (out of the blue) Done on acoustic. Part two is this one (into the black) . Part one , side one , first song on "Rust never Sleeps". Part two , side two first song. Two of my favorite songs!
lots of good songs from Neil, some heavy some softer, all good.
You should know that there is two songs with almost same lyrics but the instrumentations are different. The opening song of this album is ' My, My, Hey, Hey" ( Out of the blue), is acoustic guitar, Then the closing song for that album is ' Hey, Hey, My My' ( Into the black), and that is electric guitar. Maybe react to the other song?
ceck out > rockin in the free world < live ~
or southern man ~
For those who want to know…from google: Neil got his dirty and gritty sound on "Hey Hey, My My" by using a cranked Fender tweed Deluxe amp, most likely humbuckers or P90 pickups, and an octave-up effect from his pedals. His playing style relied heavily on his volume knob control….turned up to 11 …hey, hey….my, my….rock and roll will never die…”long live rock…be it dead or alive”—The Who
Guitar work courtesy of Jack Daniels…vocals by Yuengling 😂😂😂
That's the sound of the Prairie winds.
Neil Young is a box of chocolates…you never know what you're gonna get. Folk Neil, Rock Neil, Mellow Neil, Country Neil, Rockabilly Neil, Metal Neil, Grunge Neil.
