I have seen Rag'n'bone Man live and it was incredible. My favourite album of his is Bluestown. Predates this song, 2012 I think and is pretty much modern blues record with hints of HipHop.
In the UK, rag and bone men came round collecting scrap – old clothes, metal, etc. – to sell on.
we still had a rag n bone man here 20 years ago, North East England, with cart and horse, shouting out "rag bone", guess it's changed to vans now …
I used to babysit Rory and his sister back in the day!! 🤣🤣
He’s from my hometown (Uckfield) and still lives in a village nearby. He put in his hard work in Brighton (just 20 miles down the road from us) and the rest of the southeast before he made it big and is genuinely a really really nice guy.
Bonus shoutout for Uckfield – Ren was in our town about 3 months ago, going up and down in an alley behind my house filming a new music video.
I nearly exploded!! 😂😂
You need to listen to Skin by him. Its amazing & really shows off his incredible voice. Loved this reaction ❤
Put that soul on me, is one of his best songs in my opinion. Its more bouncy and less slow and pesimistic. Give it a listen
His song Giant is also wonderful. He's fantastic. So much soul and power.
Kanye West was a tit…Rag'n'Bone man was a name we had in the UK for a bloke who took all your crap away by horse and cart back in the day before social media nonsence…
A Rag and bone man was a scrap dealer who would push his cart up and down the streets in the UK. I think this was late 1800s/ early 1900s. No idea why he uses the name.
Rag’n’Bone Man is not religious.
