Patrick Swayze always reminded me of Morten, the lead singer of this. Such a great video! The group released the song in the UK in 1984, but it failed to chart. Then the next year they revamped it in the US and it charted. The video played on MTV for years! It’s not the most popular video that was on MTV, that was Sledgehammer by Peter Gabriel. If you haven’t seen it, you should watch it. It’s pretty wild. But I think Take On Me came pretty close, and it held up a bit better than Sledgehammer, in my opinion. Don’t get me wrong, I love Sledgehammer, but stop motion just hasn’t aged quite as well.😊🧡🖤

This song originally came out from the film 'Breakfast at Tiffany's' with Audrey Hepburn singing the song. A-ha's sung the song from this film' before A-ha. A-ha's video is just fabulous to watch & incredible to see.
