In this episode, I go behind the scenes with the team at Mintlify, one of the most talked-about startups building in the AI developer tools space.
We dive into the real conversations happening inside startups right now from hiring freezes at top tech companies to the rapid acceleration of AI that’s reshaping how products are built… and who’s needed to build them.
This is a raw look into a real team navigating the future of work, automation, and company culture.
We talk:
– How AI is impacting developer roles in real-time
– Why top companies are reducing hiring and leaning on tools
– Startup culture, optimism, and what might come next
– Plus some light-hearted chaos inside the Mintlify office
This episode is for anyone building, adapting, or wondering what comes next in a world where everything is changing, fast.

Would love a video where you interview a non YC startup.
I love how authentic the vid was. good stuff, keep it up.
Another banging video! Love seeing BTS of these startups.
building a startup on vercel? good luck ….
I feel like companies right now are a little arrogant, thinking entry level positions can be replaced with AI. But where is the next generation of leaders coming from if it’s so hard to get your first job?
very cool
i prefer simple markdown, LLM readable, easy maintenance, devs don't really care about flashy docs
Word to the wise… AI creations cannot be copyrighted.
If your code is substantially ai-generated it cannot be copyrighted. You can't open source it. It's just public domain.
Any company using AI to generate source code loses ownership of their software.
This isn't a bad thing, unless you are like a GPL fan or like selling software.
Particularly bad for games. AI generated art assets are also not copyrightable.
So if your game has a lot of AI generation in it you no longer own your game and you can't license it.
Awesome video ❤
the mintlify folks (and their product) are awesome! super cool you got to film their day
